IT'S GETTING WORSE è tutto ciò che deve darti un album HC Punk! Rabbia, Energia, coerenza e Attitudine sparato con violenza e potenza! Un ottimo biglietto da visita per i THEY PROMISED ME PONIES, Band proveniente da Dortmund che ho conosciuto grazie agli amici di TRUE UNDERGROUND. Uscito nel settembre 2025, 10 brani che in 25 minuti vanno ad affrontare varie tematiche, andiamo ad analizzare i brani;
si inizia forte con I'M ON THE WAY, Un intro motivazionale e di crescita personale "Got to find the answer Got to find the truth I´m on my way The path that i choose"; ANGEL OF DEATH non è il brano degli Slayer ma non è da meno in chiave di violenza, sfogo e odio verso la società in tono metaforico; terzo brano su tema politico, trattano abuso di potere e violenza della polizia che porta alla sfiducia nelle istituzioni. JOIN THE UNDERGROUND: Un inno che narra la nascita del Punk Rock e la sua evoluzione, cultura e unione e un invito a unirvi anche voi "Fight for your culture round by round Come on and join the underground"
CHANGE Ti porta sulla nave del sistema che affonda, la ricerca di un cambiamento e anche se non si può salvare tutto, si può iniziare da noi! Si passa poi a BREAKING THE SILENCE slogan si lotta continua e al mai arrendersi contro tutto e tutti! SO FAR SO GOOD è lo spirito Punk della band on the road, concerti, birra e pubblico pronto a pogare, sudore e fratellanza! WASTE MY LIFE NO MORE è la ricerca della nostra libertà personale e di ciò che ci incatena ogni giorno; FIGHT THE SYSTEM non ha bisogno di presentazioni dopo il titolo ma di pogare sotto al palco dei THEY PROMISED ME PONIES alla grande! Si chiude questo bellissimo percorso con AT THE END che alla fine di lotte, urla e illusioni ti puoi dare per finito, ma non è cosi...l'importante è continuare a suonare anche se forse non cambierà nulla! Ottimo lavoro della band: sound veloce, graffiante, con richiami metal e radici Hardcore Punk. Un disco che ti fa sentire vivo, ti sbatte in faccia la realtà e ti ricorda di non arrenderti mai, anche quando parti sconfitto. CONSIGLIATISSIMO!

Released in September 2025, 10 tracks that tackle various themes in 25 minutes; let’s analyse the tracks;
it kicks off strongly with I’M ON THE WAY, a motivational intro about personal growth: “Got to find the answer, got to find the truth, I’m on my way, the path that I choose”; ANGEL OF DEATH isn’t the Slayer track, but it’s no less intense in terms of violence, venting and hatred towards society, expressed metaphorically; the third track tackles political themes, addressing abuse of power and police violence that leads to mistrust in institutions.
